Both cases fell within the criterion of the war production formulated by the CRM, but the argument for the defence of the Soviet Union was not mentioned in these articles.
The slogan of an immediate end of the war was brought forward as a means to unify a common struggle of German and Dutch workers.
Immediately after the war the CRM made contact with the Fourth International, and a manifesto was published in De Rode October.

The absence of a direct military presence in the centre of the city, and the devastation known to be caused by firebombing, is regarded by supporters of the war crime position as establishing their case on a prima facie basis.
After the war, and especially after German reunification, great efforts were made to rebuild some of Dresden's former landmarks, such as the Frauenkirche, the Semperoper, and the Zwinger.

The prosecution entered indictments against 24 "major war criminals" and against 6 "criminal organizations": Hitler's Cabinet, the leadership corps of the Nazi party, the SS (party police) and SD (security police), the Gestapo, the SA and the General Staff and High Command of the army.
