CHARLES Peace was executed at Armley Jail, Leeds, yesterday morning, for the murder of Mr Dyson, at Hammercross, Sheffield, in November 1876.
In a dispute with her husband, Peace shot Mr Dyson and, on his arrest, confessed to the murder of a policeman - for which an innocent man was imprisoned - and a long list of other crimes.
